One of the largest cities in the world, Turkish Istanbul is also recognized as the safest city in the world. The city has achieved this tag as any citizen residing here is least exposed to threat to life as compared to other cities in the world.
The second safest city in the world after Istanbul is Berlin. However, Tokyo in Japan is the most dangerous city.
Turkish authorities say that impressive progress has been achieved due to the development of infrastructure and the police equipping themselves with modern equipments coupled with the general level of confidence of citizens and tourists on the men in uniform.
