Jazz Aviation LP is named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for the third consecutive year

Jazz Aviation LP (“Jazz”) has been selected as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2014 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. for the third year in a row.
“This award celebrates differences and values the uniqueness that each individual has to offer,” said Colin Copp, Chief Administrative Officer, Jazz. “At Jazz, diversity is not a program – it is core to the makeup of our people and business. We believe that by optimizing the strengths of our employees and reflecting the tremendous diversity that exists within the many communities we serve, we strengthen our team.”
This special award recognizes employers across Canada that have exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs. The annual competition evaluates a range of diversity initiatives, including programs for five major employee groups: women; members of visible minorities; persons with disabilities; aboriginal peoples; and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered/transsexual peoples.
Jazz was recognized for promoting a culture that embraces diversity and fosters inclusion through a number of initiatives aimed at making current and prospective employees feel welcome and valued, and by forming partnerships with organizations that seek to support our goal.
