John Wayne Airport Posts November 2013 Statistics

John-Wayne-Airport-300x98Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport decreased in November 2013 as compared to November 2012. In November 2013, the Airport served 739,031 passengers, a decrease of 1.6% when compared to the November 2012 passenger traffic count of 750,800.

Commercial aircraft operations decreased 4.5%, while Commuter aircraft operations decreased 22.1% when compared to the levels recorded in November 2012.

Total aircraft operations decreased in November 2013 as compared to the same month in 2012. In November 2013, there were 19,029 total aircraft operations (take-offs and landings), a decrease of 3.8% when compared to 19,782 total aircraft operations in November 2012.

General aviation activity, which accounted for 65.5% of the total aircraft operations during November 2013, decreased 3.3% when compared to November 2012.
