After the charity match held on June 22, the Dunkirk officially ended their season by winning the victory against Kreopolitains (37-30). After the effort, the handball champions began their holiday on Reunion Island with their coach acting as their guide.

It was 7 am on Tuesday when the France champs headed to their first top at the Langevin river for a snorkeling session with Alpanes Concept and canyoning with Ric Ric.

With stunt slides and diving jumps, these handball players’ hearts leaped with excitement and joy in the stunning setting of whitewater cascading over basaltic rock. It was an unforgettable experience, rich in sensations and emotions, which should leave a lasting impression in the minds of these athletes.

Then it was time for lunch on the banks of the river Langevin, before continuing to the lava flows of Saint-Philippe. Here, guide Julien Dez took the athletes on a “Journey to the Center of the Earth.” One after the other, the players entered basaltic volcanic basaltic wearing their headlamp gear, giving way to spectacular sights of stalagmites, ocher-colored cave walls, and dare we say… spooky apparitions?Between sports, discoveries, and intense authentic experiences, these handball champions experienced a day full of adventure – this is Reunion Island!
