Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa, Kuwait’s idyllic resort, has been certified by Green Globe, the global certification for sustainable tourism, for the second consecutive year. Following an inspection process, the luxurious landmark achieved a score of 79 per cent, meeting all international standards for sustainable practices.
In-line with the hotel’s dedication to sustainability practices, Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa has successfully and consistently practiced energy and water conservation, reduced electricity consumption and implemented many eco-friendly initiatives for the wellbeing and safety of its guests and the community in Kuwait.

Working hand-in-hand, colleagues have worked continuously to raise environmental awareness and uphold eco-friendly practices across all aspects of the hotel, as well as through the Corporate Social Responsibility practices and initiatives that the hotel and its colleagues engage in.
Since opening in 2013 the property has organised several initiatives to make a positive contribution to the local community including social, charitable and environmental initiatives in addition to actively promoting the rich heritage of Kuwait. Further recognising its eco-friendly practices, the hotel has also won this year the titles of Eco Luxury Hotel of the Middle East as well as Luxury Hotel of Kuwait at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards, the international coveted award for the luxury segment.
