JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International’s luxury brand, has been recognized as having some of the best hotels in the country by U.S. News & World Report. An impressive 21 of JW Marriott’s 23 U.S. properties received honors in the 2013 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hotels Rankings. Eight of JW Marriott’s U.S. properties were awarded silver badges, ranking in the top 10 within their individual markets. The coveted recognition puts the luxury hospitality at the forefront of major U.S. travel markets, from Chicago to Honolulu.
To create this year’s rankings, U.S. News & World Report used a standardized methodology based on three major components: guest reviews, hotel class ratings, and reputation among professional travel experts. Nearly 2,000 hotels across the U.S. and Caribbean were evaluated this year, with the top 10 percent of candidates in the luxury segment. Only a fraction of contenders scored high enough to be named Best Hotels by U.S. News.

In addition to ranking high in their individual cities, three JW Marriott hotels impressed as some of the best in their state. JW Marriott Indianapolis was recognized as the third best in the state of Indiana, JW Marriott Chicago was recognized as the eighth best in the state of Illinois and JW Marriott Grand Rapids was recognized as the sixth best hotel in the state of Michigan.
