free flights to Korea plus accommodation along with other prizes as part of an event to promote its newly-upgraded website. Open to all, the online promotion is designed to raise awareness of the KMB, the business events division of the Korea Tourism Organization, as well as the extensive support available for meetings hosted in Korea.
First launched in 2009, KoreaConvention.org is the nation’s no. 1 online resource for anyone interested in holding meetings, incentives, and other business events in Korea. The redesign provides an enhanced planning experience with updated meeting venues, accommodation database, MICE events calendar, and free downloadable guides. Most notable feature is a new Request for Proposal page, which not only allows submission of event specifications but also enables event planners to track the progress of their application.
“We want the new website to be the ultimate planning tool for all events in Korea,” said Ms. Hee Jin Cho, Head of the Korea MICE Promotion Team. “We aim to make life as easy as possible for organizers, along with showing them that Korea is an accessible, friendly meetings destination,” he added.
To participate, entrants simply need to answer one question about the official KMB website and supply their personal details to be eligible for a prize. A total of 54 winners
will be selected as follows:
· 1st Prize: Roundtrip flights to Korea + 5-star Hotel Accommodation 3D/2N (1 winner)
· Samsung Gear 360 (3 winners)
· $20 Amazon Gift Card (50 winners)
Entries will be accepted from September 1st – November 30th, with the winners announced on December 9th. For more details, visit the event page here.
