Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre presented Confrerie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage de Malasie Fine Dining Award

Kuala Lumpur Convention CentreMelodious, soothing tones to dark, timbre notes reaching a crescendo from a lone violinist added suspense and excitement, as well as anticipation, to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s ‘Art of ‘Live’ Cooking – An open kitchen of 10 gastronomic experiences!’ dinner at the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Malaysia Chapter’s (the Chaîne) 7th Diner Amical Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.



Marvelling at being treated to a one-of-a-kind ‘live’ culinary performance by the Centre’s award-winning chefs, the Chaîne’s Bailli Delegue (President), Datuk Dr Jagjit Singh Sambhi congratulated the Centre for yet another extraordinary dinner.



“The unusual ‘live’ experience was well matched by the outstanding fine cuisine and impeccable service. Every time; and this is our seventh annual dinner here, the Centre has delivered an unforgettable culinary experience.



“It is this commitment to enhancing dining experiences, regardless of the occasion, that affirms the Chaîne’s decision to present the Centre with the Confrerie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage de Malasie Fine Dining Award (Confederation of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Malaysia Chapter Fine Dining Award) this year.”



Thanking the Chaîne for their continuing support and the award, General Manager Alan Pyror said the award recognises the hard work and creativity of Executive Chef, Richmond Lim and his culinary brigade to continuously “‘push the envelope’ to define and differentiate our culinary services from standard convention centre fare and presentation.



“We applaud our eight chefs for crafting the evening’s exquisite menu and, most of all, for their “nerves of steel” and performing perfectly under pressure in front of a live audience of gastronomes and connoisseurs.”



The Confrerie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage de Malasie Fine Dining Award is the facility’s second accolade from the Chaîne, the first being the inaugural ‘Dato Lau Foo Sun Excellence in Dining Award’ in 2012.



The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society founded in Paris in 1950 that is devoted to the promotion of fine dining and the preservation of the camaraderie and pleasure of the table. The Chaîne’s traditions and practices of the old French royal guild unite professional caterers, amateur gastronomes and connoisseurs of all wines and crafted spirits.
