Playing golf in Madrid will make you thirsty, that comes along with the high temperatures and all the walking under the sun. But we found the perfect solution for that: Madrid’s third edition of the famous OKTOBERFEST!
From the 22nd to the 25th of June, Madrid will be full of activities and events related to beer. So, if you like golf and beer and want to know more about its interesting culture – apart from drinking it – Madrid is your city.
Do you know how many different types of beer there are? Are you able to identify them? During that weekend at the Barclaycard Center you’ll be able to enjoy the essence of the Oktoberfest plus lots of new innovations.
Once again, Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier will be served, but this year they made a special brew for this occasion, certified in Munich! Paired with exquisite care with 100% Bavarian food.
Maybe you don’t like beer that much, but you do love to share time with your personal beer-lover. In that case Madrid’s Oktoberfest is coming up with a series of exhibitions, the Prost hour and great bands and Dj’s that will make this party unforgettable.
Too much beer will leave you hungry for sure, they’ve prepared a selection of their most tradition German food. They couldn’t miss the famous Frankfurt sausages, the Eisbein – a German culinary dich of pickled ham hock, usually boiled or baked in the over; and last bust not least, if you don’t want to get too full, you can taste their bretzels, they are simply delicious.
Costumes, dances and in general all the traditional Bavarian folklore, including some really exciting moments and rituals such as the opening of the barrel, or the traditional Bavarian toast, make the visitor feel as if enjoying authentic and genuine Oktoberfest in Munich, but without leaving Madrid. Last year the official opening was hosted by Miki Nadal, Spanish famous comedian, and former Real Madrid’s coach Bernd Schuster, who would be this year? Are you going to miss it?
After spending the day playing golf in Madrid this is a must-see must-taste must-enjoy plan! Play golf in any of the 34 world top notch golf courses in Madrid and then relax with a nice cold beer.
