Showcasing the highest calibre of equestrian show jumping, the Longines Global Champions Tour Series 2014 London leg from August 14 till August 16 is at Horse Guards Parade in the heart of London.
Set to be a thrilling competition, the event will feature the top 30 riders in the world. Olympic medalists from the London 2012 Games will compete in the British capital once again, building on the legacy of London 2012′s success.
The debut of the Longines Global Champions Tour in London in 2013 produced one of the most exciting Grand Prix jump offs in the history of the championship series, with the top five riders separated by only two seconds.
Britain’s Olympic team gold medalist and current world number one Ben Maher emerged as the champion in London beating British show jumping legend Nick Skelton by a fraction. With the London 2014 event only two weeks prior to the World Championship, this offers a fascinating moment for all show jumping fans.
