Chef Jared Reeves and sommelier Clint Hillery have created a six-course shared feast, showcasing their favourite food and wine.
Reeves has carefully prepared a homely and hearty winter menu, with delights such as freshly shucked Wallis Lake oysters, whole john dory cooked in The Woods’ wood-fired oven, and for dessert, The Woods tart and ricotta cheesecake.
Hillery shares Reeves’ passion for procuring premium local products and patrons can have the choice of one of three matching wine lists: “Classic,” which includes grapes and brands that everyone knows and loves; “Near and Exotic,” which showcases new grapes, styles and wineries throughout Australia; and “Internationals” – the best from Spain to South America and everything in between.
The Woods feast table is where food, wine and conversation work in perfect harmony.
The shared feast can be ordered for dinner at The Woods with a minimum 24 hours notice required for groups of six or more.
The feast is AUD 95.00 per person, wine matching starts from AUD 75.00 per person.
