LVCVA participated in the Fourth India Mission

las vegasLas Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the official destination marketing organization of Southern Nevada, participated in the fourth Brand USA India Mission for travel trade. Beginning from September 7 to September 11, 2015 in Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi, the India Mission witnessed the participation of 43 delegates, representing 32 organizations from various destinations, attractions, hotels and destination management companies.

 

 

“We are delighted to be a part of the Brand USA India Mission once again this year,” said Mr. Michael Goldsmith, vice president of international marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to share the latest information and updates on Las Vegas with our travel industry partners in India.”

 

 

Las Vegas welcomed a record 41.1 million visitors in 2014, approximately 1.4 million more visitors than the previous high of 39.7 million set in 2012. Las Vegas tourism generates more than $45 billion in economic impact for the local economy and supports 376,000 local jobs.
