Make This Valentine’s a Day to Remember at Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus

February is the time to be with loved ones to enjoy the romantic spirit. Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus offers a memorable Valentine’s Day with a flower-themed menu at Aqua restaurant.

Seni Seviyorum Means I Love You

Inspired by the enchanting scenery of Bosphorus, Aqua restaurant welcomes its guests with a six-course menu including live entertainment and a welcome aperitivo. The menu takes couples on a step by step journey of eternal love. Each course is defined with a specific flower that is symbolic to phases of love. Orchid, the flower of refined beauty is followed by orange rose (seduction), violet (think of me, forget me not), red rose (declaration of love) and camellia, which says “my destiny is in your hands.”

Following the welcome drink – a traditional Bellini – the menu starts with scallops served over lemon cream, beetroot and vanilla. The next course is foie gras and prawns terrine with tangerine/rose marmalade, which is then followed by egg raviolone with ricotta, parmesan and basil with black truffle fondue. A flower is presented to the ladies with each service so that they can create their own bouquet at the end of the night.

Monkfish with calamari ragout, bell pepper and a rose hint is the last course before the main dish, which is braised beef cheeks with glazed carrots and turnips finished with smoked black tea sauce. Following the delicious dessert for her and for him by Executive Pastry Chef Ghislain Gaille, guests will enjoy homemade candy and sweets to finish off the evening per due.
