During the chic party entitled J’aime la MOde, guests were treated to a delightful presentation of the collection ‘Happy’ by the Parisian Fashion School ESMOD PARIS in the garden and Bar 8.
The colourful menu was designed by the hotel’s two-Michelin- starred Chef Thierry Marx, while music was performed by French sound designer Nathalie Duchêne and jazz singer China Moses.
‘We are delighted to collaborate with the talented students from ESMOD PARIS. Their collection – elegant, glamorous and joyful – perfectly embodies the spirit of Mandarin Oriental, Paris’ said Philippe Leboeuf, General Manager / Area Vice President, Operations Mandarin Oriental. ‘This is the third year we have hosted the J’aime la MOde party, which becomes a regular annual event around fashion and creation,’ he added.
Located on rue Saint-Honoré, one of the most fashionable streets in the world, surrounded by haute couture and only a few steps away from the city’s famous attractions, the red carpet event drew a stellar crowd. Celebrities included: Paris and Nicki Hilton, fashion designers Alexis Mabille, Gustavo Lins, Chantal Thomass, Kenzo Takada, Jean-Claude Jitrois, Miss France 2014 Flora Coquerel, actresses Anoushka Delon, Mélanie Bernier and Aymeline Valade, actor Vincent Elbaz, tennis champion Henri Leconte.
