It’s a shopping staycation, just before the holidays. This year, the Chicago Marriott Naperville is offering a Holiday Outlet Outing Package, combining a night’s stay at the hotel with shopping at the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora. After a relaxing evening of complimentary cocktails, a dip in the indoor pool and a sound night’s sleep, imagine waking up to a fresh, farm-to-table breakfast, then planning a day of shopping, armed with vouchers, coupons and a Starbucks gift card. Rates for the Holiday Outlet Outing Package start at $169 per night and include a $50 Chicago Premium Outlets gift card, a voucher for a VIP coupon book to be used at any of the 120 stores, a $10 Starbucks gift card, and a hearty breakfast for two at the hotel’s very own Artisan Table.
“It’s a chance to ‘shop different,’” said Dan Gustafson, general manager of the Chicago Marriott Naperville. “Guests can turn their annual holiday shopping trip into a mini-vacation, enjoying all the amenities we have here at the hotel – the pool, the restaurant, luxury beds, the fitness center – and then head out to the stores with gift cards and coupons.”
Guests at the hotel will also be amazed at one of the finest Winter Wonderland displays in Chicagoland, baked and assembled by pastry chef Erica Tomei and her team. The massive display of a Christmas town includes buildings made of homemade gingerbread dough, royal icing and assorted holiday candies. Hotel guests will also receive complimentary chocolate peppermint cookies and apple cider upon check-in.
