Micron Technology Appoints Thomas Snodgrass as Vice President of System Solutions

(Nasdaq:MU), today announced that the company has named Tom Snodgrass, vice president, System Solutions.Snodgrass will be responsible for managing Micron’s System Solutions business focused on delivering enterprise-class solutions to the market using Micron NAND Flash and DRAM memory.

 

Snodgrass brings to Micron more than 30 years of technology experience in various senior management roles across several leading companies, including the past 13 years managing storage solutions at PMC-Sierra. Snodgrass served as PMC-Sierra’s vice president of Corporate Strategy and Corporate Technology from 2011 to 2013, and he worked as the company’s vice president of product development, Enterprise Storage Division, from 2003 to 2010.”We are excited to have Tom join the management team at Micron,” said Micron President Mark Adams. “Given his strong industry experience, he will bring a unique perspective to our systems-level focus serving the enterprise market.

 

“Snodgrass’ professional background includes serving as vice president of engineering at AANetcom, ATI and Tseng Labs prior to joining PMC-Sierra. He also worked in various technical roles at AT&T, Honeywell Defense Systems, McDonnell Douglas and AT&T Bell Labs. Snodgrass holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri.
