MTA New York City Transit announces that Countdown Clocks and the mobile app, Subway Time, will not be available between 8AM and 5PM, Saturday, March 22 while a software upgrade is being installed. During this procedure, countdown clocks will be offline because no train data will be fed to the display signs and the app. Customers should be advised that:
There will be no automated “next train arrival” information;
Customer Information System (CIS) will display date and time;
Safety announcements (visual and audio) will play in station when a train is arriving;
The Public Address (PA) System will function as normal (live and prerecorded).
