MTA New York City Transit restored local service for the on the Queens Boulevard line shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday. and trains run local in Queens and then resume their regular routes into Manhattan.
All cars from the train that derailed on Friday have been removed. This schedule is in effect until crews finish repairs to the damaged tracks, with the goal of restoring normal service on all four affected lines by 5 a.m. Monday.
trains run between Bay Ridge-95 St and 57 St-7 Av in Manhattan. train service has been extended to Astoria-Ditmars Blvd/31 St.
MTA Long Island Rail Road is cross-honoring valid MetroCards at Atlantic Terminal, East New York, Forest Hills, Jamaica, Kew Gardens, Nostrand Avenue, Penn Station and Woodside.
Please allow for additional travel time on the affected subway lines and higher volume of customers on LIRR.
