The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club Captures The Prestigious AAA Four Diamond Rating

The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club has received the prestigious AAA Four Diamond rating, moving up from its previous AAA Three Diamond rating. According to AAA, only 4.8% of the 30,000 lodgings approved by AAA receive the acclaimed AAA Four Diamond rating.
Always known for providing a high-level of service, with a beautiful beachfront setting and impressive amenities, The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club recently completed more than $45 million in renovations and enhancements over the past six years. This shows the commitment the resort’s owners and operators the Watkins family has shown to continually improving and enhancing the historic resort. This included the renovation and remodeling of its 317 guest rooms and suites, the opening (in early 2013) of a new Gulf-view ballroom named The Everglades Room, the addition (in 2010) of a beautiful new beachfront pool complex (with two new pools), the renovation and expansion of its Gulf-front bar The Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, enhancements to its championship golf course, and the just-completed renovation of its beachfront restaurant HB’s on the Gulf.
According to AAA, the Four Diamond rating is provided to select hotels and resorts which are “refined and stylish with upscale physical attributes that reflect enhanced quality throughout. Fundamental hallmarks include extensive amenities and a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.” The rating is based on many factors, which includes unscheduled evaluations conducted by AAA professional inspectors.
“Receiving the AAA Four Diamond rating has been a goal that the Watkins family and our entire team has worked hard to achieve,” said Jason Parsons, general manager of The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. “It is a highly sought after distinction that is achieved by only 4.8% of over 30,000 hotels and resorts that AAA evaluates. Other honors recently bestowed on the resort include Successful Meetings magazine’s prestigious “Pinnacle Award” in 2013, and Wine Spectator magazine’s “Award of Excellence” for HB’s on the Gulf.
