Nature in the loop – pedal powered holidays in coastal Denmark

Nature-in-the-loop-300x169Cycling holidays are becoming evermore popular, allowing travellers to get close to nature and enjoy local experiences at their own pace. And with more than 12,000 km of designated bicycle routes, cycle friendly cities and 11 national cycle routes, Denmark is a great destination for cycling holidays.

The new initiative, Powered by Cycling: Panorama spotlights 26 short looped cycling routes, several of which offer a unique chance to explore Denmark’s scenic coastal destinations on short, looped routes that branch out from two national cycling routes – the West Coast Route with its wide open sandy beaches and national parks and the Berlin-Copenhagen Route, which meanders along the chalky cliffs of Denmark’s Baltic Sea coast, Denmark’s newest UNESCO World Heritage site.
