Nepali embassy in Thailand organised tourism promotion campaign in Singapore

naturally nepalIn a campaign to promote tourism in Nepal in the post-earthquake scenario, the Embassy of Nepal, Thailand and Consulate of Nepal in Singapore jointly organized a Tourism Promotion Program with the slogan of “Nepal is Safe: Visit, Enjoy and Help Nepal” at Singapore Cricket Club, Singapore, on July 2.

 

 

Many people including Dr Yap Lip Kee, Cassell R. Meyers, Prof Dr Pradumna B Rana, Shobha Tsering Bhalla, Kishore Dev Pant, Indra Gurung, Sid Tsering Bhalla, Maya Bhalla, Kishore Dev Pant, Lee Siew Hua, and Don Lam had shared their experiences, and encouraged people to visit Nepal, according to a press statement issued by the Embassy.

 

 

The programme was sponsored by Singapore Cricket Club, Pernod RicardSingapore, Chariot, Singapore, Divine International Explore and Treks, Shish Mahal Restaurant, and Brother International Tours and Trading Private Limited.The Embassy thanks the sponsors for their support.

 

 

In his welcome remarks, Minister Counsellor/Deputy Chief of Mission Dornath Aryal shed light on the post-earthquake scenario of tourism in Nepal. He also said that Nepal is safe and secure to visit, and requestedthe media persons and travel entrepreneurs to convey the real situation of Nepal and encourage people to visit Nepal.

 

 

Likewise, Consul of Nepal in Singapore Madhusudan M. Patel briefed the participants about his endeavors to help the victims of the earthquake. He said that it was the first programme of this kind jointly organized by the Embassy of Nepal and Honorary Consulate of Nepal in Singapore and assured that he would issue visa immediately. About 95 persons participated in the programme. The Programme was very much interactive.

 

 

The embassy has already organized similar programmes with the same slogan in Bangkok, Phuketand Vientiane in Lao PDR, and is scheduled to organize another programme in Pattaya, Thailand on 10 July 2015.
