Mark Farrow, head of transparency for Network Rail, said: “We’re continuing to publish more data as part of our commitment to being more open and transparent about what we do and the way we do it. This month, I’m particularly pleased that we are publishing a series of web pages explaining in simple and straightforward language the typical causes of delays to trains and how we are working to tackle them. We have also published our draft transparency strategy, and I’m keen to get as many views and thoughts from as many different people and organisations as possible. Only by listening and learning from others can we really progress in this area.”
