A very respected hospitality industry professional from Mauritius, Mr Jean-Marc Lagesse, has been appointed the new General Manager of the largest resort of the Seychelles, the Constance Ephelia. He will be taking up his position in Seychelles from July 1.
Mr Lagesse is listed as being creator of the boutique hotel Lakaz Chamarel and of the Pro-Resort Consulting hospitality company that specializes in advising on hotel management.
Mr Jean-Marc Lagesse has had a long career in the Mauritius hotel industry. He worked for 12 years as the General Manager of the Paradis Hotel in the southwest of Mauritius, and from December 2000 until January 2014 he became the Area General Manager of the Paradis and Dina robin Hotels. These two resorts are listed as two of the nicest resorts of the Beachcomber Hotel Group.
When he was on his hand-over working visit to Ephelia Resort, Lagesse was welcomed to Seychelles by Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture, and Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism, during a meeting at the resort.
