New Hampton Inn Hotel Opens in Auburn Hills

Hampton-logoHampton Hotels, Hilton Worldwide’s global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Hampton by Hilton hotels, today announced the official opening of its newest property, the 102-room Hampton Inn Detroit/Auburn Hills South, located at 2200 Featherstone Road.

The hotel is operated by SUS Hospitality Investment, LLC, and is the second Hampton property in Auburn Hills and the 44th in the state. Hampton Inn Detroit/Auburn Hills South brings 40 new jobs to the area.

The Hampton Inn Detroit/Auburn Hills South is the closest hotel to the Silverdome Stadium. It is centrally located in the Chrysler Headquarters, west of I-75 and offers easy access to shopping opportunities at The Somerset Collection and Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, as well as sports and entertainment at the nearby Palace of the Auburn Hills. There are several colleges and universities located within two miles of the hotel including Baker College, Oakland Community College, Oakland University, and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Guest rooms are equipped with modern amenities designed to help guests feel at home and stay productive, including a microwave, refrigerator and clean and fresh Hampton bed®. The new hotel also features Hampton’s Perfect Mix Lobby, designed with a variety of seating and lighting options for both leisure and business travelers as an extension of the guestroom.
