New MICE Task Force eastablished in Gyeongju and Gangwon Province – Korea

Hwabaek-Convention-Center-300x189New MICE Task Force has been eastablished in the regions including Gyeongju and Gangwon Province expecting to add diversity to Korea’s MICE spectrum.

City of history and culture, Gyeongju and representative recreational region: Gangwon Province established their convention bureaus respectively.

Geyongju, widely known for Bulguksa temple, UNESCO World Heritage Site including Seokgulam with the new Hwabaek Center that’s scheduled to open at the end of the year, together began it’s kick off in becoming a recognized international meetings city. To be noted, Gyeongju succesfully hosted The 2010 Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations General Assembly in Asia Pacific and The G20 Finance Ministers Meeting proving its abilities in hosting international meetings.

In addition, Gangwon Province, which is well known as the host of the Winter Olympics 2018 in Pyeongchang with its established corporate training venue facilities which include large resorts, ski slopes, casinos and other entertainments, will target corporate meetings and incentive tours as part of their strategy to establish and position itself as an ideal MICE destination.
