Quinta do Lago, Europe’s premier luxury golf and lifestyle destination, is offering an extra touch of style and sophistication this autumn after unveiling an exclusive calendar of events and activities to extend the golden summer.
Renowned for delivering an array of luxury experiences in the tranquil setting of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, families can enjoy numerous sporting, social and family events between now and November at the famous Algarve venue, with the resort’s Paul McGinley Golf Academy providing the focal point.
And complementing the extensive sports and leisure facilities is Quinta do Lago’s comprehensive collection of 10 exclusive bars and restaurants, which offer the ideal way to relax and unwind in a modern and chic setting.
The resort’s golf academy will be staging a number of junior camps from October 17 to November 4. Available to juniors aged five to 16 and taking place from Monday to Friday over a three-week period, the daily three-hour sessions can be booked from €175 per person and offer a comprehensive week’s coaching in a fun and competitive environment.
A fun-packed morning for youngsters is also guaranteed at Quinta do Lago’s Sunday Fun Golf events on October 23 and 30 and a Mini-Golf Challenge on October 24, while adults, as well as enjoying the resort’s three 18-hole championship golf courses, can improve their swings at a TaylorMade Demo Day on October 26.
Away from the fairways, the resort’s watersports centre offers the opportunity to try an array of activities including sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing and surf camps.
Live music is available each week in autumn at the resort’s acclaimed Bovino Steakhouse and Casa do Lago and The Shack restaurants, with the former also serving up a mouth-watering brunch menu every Sunday. From mid-September, and following its summer success, Bovino Restaurant is introducing its new ‘Bovino Sunday Club BBQ’, offering an authentic BBQ experience and premium cuts in buffet style with a live cooking experience and interaction with the chef, while live music and children’s entertainment livens up the afternoon.
Guests can also enjoy a culinary treat of French food and wine-tasting at the recently-reopened Casa Velha restaurant on Tuesday, October 25 while a number of Halloween-themed events will be held around the resort during October half-term to help celebrate the spookiest day of the year.
