New tourism brochure backed by major tourism names

New-tourism-brochureA new tourism brochure created by Mission Beach residents with eye-catching pictures of a tropical paradise is getting major support of some of the prime tourism bodies of this region.

 

 

Mission Beach Cassowaries Inc team along with Terrain Natural Resource Management created and funded this brochure and an impending website.

 
Wet Tropics Management Authority, Eco Tourism Australia and Queensland Tourism Industry Council jointly have decided to share a 20 page booklet within the country as well as outside to attract tourists on a global scale.

 

Liz Gallie, president MBC considers that this publication would attract the attention of the travelers who are seeking an exclusive interaction with nature. To quote Liz, “I think Mission Beach is really such a special place. We want quality not quantity and we want to attract the right kind of people who will protect it because they appreciate it. After all Mission Beach is the cassowary capital of the world.”

 
Alex de Waal, chief executive of Tourism Tropical North Queensland considers that the support of the local industry in marketing tourism of Cassowary Coast is a step that’s praiseworthy. Daniel Gschwind, QTIC chief executive was highly optimistic about the potential of this booklet. To quote Gschwind, “This guide will entice more visitors to go natural in Tropical North Queensland and it will make us all appreciate the natural wonders more than ever’’.
