Getting fit and maintaining a long-term healthy lifestyle can seem like an impossible task to many people, but Sicily’s award-winning Verdura Resort is offering a helping hand with the launch of a new range of bespoke luxury fitness packages this summer.
Eager to help guests improve their mind, body and soul, the deluxe resort’s new collection of well-being programmes cover all aspects of health, with full-board breaks starting from €785 per person. (approx £610)
Bookable on either a three or six-day basis, five different fitness programs are available – fit, slim, detox, anti-age and relax – with each providing specialist tips and advice on areas including nutrition, detox and exercise to assist in fulfilling long-term health and fitness goals.
As well as including personal fitness consultations and sessions with Verdura’s expert fitness team led by fitness manager Marcello Mulato, guests can enjoy a variety of different treatments, massages and therapies with each package.
Specially-tailored menus and nutritious smoothies are also included together with a number of relaxing treatments and complimentary access to the resort’s multi award-winning 4,000sqm spa complex. All breaks are based on two people sharing a double room.
Nestling next to the Mediterranean in 230 hectares of stunning landscape, Verdura Resort – a Rocco Forte hotel – has quickly risen to become one of Europe’s elite contemporary, luxury sports and lifestyle destinations since its launch seven years ago.
Set on Sicily’s southern coast between Agrigento and the fishing city of Sciacca, an 80-minute drive from Trapani and Palermo airports, the resort features 203 rooms and suites – all with a sea view.
