Oman sees 80 per cent rise in tourists from Australia

download-64-300x150From skateboarding to following the frankincense trail, Oman’s Ministry of Tourism office in Australia has started wooing Australians with tailor-made packages to the Sultanate.With the campaign — Side Trip Of A Lifetime — tourist arrivals from Australia have grown by more than 70 to 80 per cent in the last few months.

“Oman is a country with breathtaking natural beauty interwoven with a kaleidoscope of history, legends and adventures and that is the reason why we are seeing so many travellers from Australia and New Zealand,” said a senior official who is associated with bringing tourists to the Sultanate of Oman from Down Under.The Oman Tourism office based in Sydney creates awareness in Australia and New Zealand about Oman as a great holiday and business destination.
