The Certificate of Excellence is awarded on the basis of feedback provided by travellers on the Trip Advisor Portal. Responses received indicated that guests felt very much at home when staying at a Steigenberger hotel in Germany and also particularly enjoyed their experiences in the Netherlands, in Switzerland and at four out of Steigenberger’s five resorts in Egypt.
Both new hotels such as the InterCityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof and the Steigenberger Hotel Bremen were certified alongside more traditional establishments such as the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof and the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Düsseldorf. The award recognises particular hospitality and is conferred on companies all over the world that constantly attract outstanding traveller reviews on the website.
