Started from July 22nd till 31st at Renaissance Hotel, Oriental food festival showcases the culinary traditions from Asian countries including China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia etc. The food festival brings the most delectable menu comprising of Chinese, Thai & Indian cuisine to bring you a gastronomical experience you will remember in a long time. Other than this, the succulent Asian delicacies will tickle your taste buds.
Asia, being the largest and most populous continent, is home to many cultures, many of which have their own characteristic cuisine. Stir frying, steaming, and deep frying are common cooking methods. While rice is common to most Asian cuisines, different varieties are popular in the various regions. Basmati rice is popular in the subcontinent, Jasmine rice is often found across the southeast. Curry is a common dish in southern, western and southeastern Asia. Some of the popular dishes are Sweet and savory steamed buns, dim sums, five spiced chicken, chicken satay, stir fried lamb, nasi goreng, vegetable hot pot, assortment of mushrooms in oriental sauce. Not to forget is the all time Indian favorites, Chilli chicken, chilli paneer, vegetable hakka noodles, spring rolls, crispy fried vegetables, Darsaan.
