It’s not too early to plan 2014 spring and summer events. Event-goers at the Chicago Marriott Naperville will be able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors this coming spring and summer, as the hotel today announced the completion of the Naper Patio, 1,000 square feet of modern, landscaped outdoor space. The contemporary, tree-lined plaza connects with the Marriott’s meeting rooms and Naper Ballroom, and can transform any event into an elegant indoor-outdoor affair.
“We’ve been open just over a year, and we built the Naper Patio to accommodate the overwhelmingly positive community response to our hotel,” said Dan Gustafson, general manager of the Chicago Marriott Naperville. “Now events from weddings to corporate meetings can add an outdoor element. The Naper Patio is perfect for ambiance, photos and simply giving guests more options to enjoy themselves in multiple settings.”
The Chicago Marriott Naperville is the largest, full-service hotel in the western suburbs. With hundreds of guest rooms and thousands of square feet of flexible meeting space, the staff at the Marriott can accommodate a single traveler or a major event, from a trade show to the largest wedding, with ease. The new Naper Patio adds to the Marriott’s sustainable environmental practices, which includes acquiring LEED certification for the building, smart energy and water usage, the sourcing of fresh, local ingredients for the hotel’s food service, and the care of the famous Marriott rooftop bee colony.
