20140808-2040_mThe Palm Hotel&Spa opened its doors after two months of renovation, providing an opportunity to usher in the new modern touch to this luxurious hotel in the south of Reunion Island.

This has been a major project whose main objective was to create the hotel of the future: an intelligent human and ecological, comfortable and ergonomic, high-tech hotel that respects its guests and its employees, taking into account the evolution of societal trends, technology, and sustainable development.

It’s in a heavenly world and a five-star comfort for this hotel that gets a new start.

Through these transformations, “We want our customers to live a unique experience at Palm,” said Michel Jam Group, CEO Hotels&Co.
Modernized rooms
The renovation of 65 rooms, includes 32 superior rooms, 16 deluxe rooms, 14 suites, and 3 lodges on stilts, giving way to a new design and a redesigned layout: the terraces are enlarged, new technologies are entering, and the development is tailored to customer expectations.
The creation of a relaxing space
Palm Beach, with a beach lounge spirit, is a relaxing area of 1,200 m² dedicated to relaxation, contemplation, and well-being centered with a hammam and a hot tub, resting on the edge of a cliff facing the Indian Ocean.

Overlooking the beach of Grand Anse, it is a space for casual outdoor dining where you walk in the sand to go and have a five-star lunch at a beach restaurant at sunset.

Access for disabled people is expected to reach the full range of the hotel’s area with a panoramic terrace, relaxation, the beach, etc.
The extension of the Spa
The Spa Akéa was also upgraded with an extension of the range of treatments, particularly development of the hut that was carefully constructed for a moment of zen provided in a space of 430 square meters.
A renovation that takes into account the environment
With a growing interest in the environment, solar systems have been put in place to warm water for use in the laundry, cooking, Spa, and black pool.

For supplying the accommodations, the hotel uses systems of renewable energy production.
