Park Hotel Amsterdam is awarded as “Best Business Hotel, The Netherlands” by the
international renowned business travel magazine Business Destinations.
Park Hotel has a distinguishing factor when it comes to the story behind the concept,
according to Business Destinations. Back in 2009 and 2010 Park Hotel had also the
honour to be rewarded with this annual award.
Park Hotel can be described as a medium-sized hotel with 189 rooms and 700 square
meters of meeting & event space, but with the style, personal approach and individuality
of a boutique hotel. Business Destinations notes that business hotels are often
distinguishable. Park Hotel knows how to combine their business facilities with the
intimate feeling and the personal approach of a boutique hotel.
“After the rigorous renovation a few years ago, we wanted to create a mid-sized hotel
with the DNA of some boutique hotels. What we are hearing from our meetings and
event clients, and corporate clients is that they love the hotel because it has all these
elements in it that you would find in a smaller boutique hotel. Business people these
days would like to experience emotion, rather than only the satisfaction of their primary
needs”, says Bram van der Hoek, General Manager of Park Hotel.
The Living Room of the hotel is a good example of a boutique experience in Park Hotel.
The Living Room is a specially designed space that is unlike a traditional hotel’s public
seating area, and is intended to offer guests home comforts. The Living Room has a
stunning fireplace, a big guest library, The Gallery Zone and a Jewelry Bar. The Jewelry
Bar is exclusively designed for Park Hotel, made of polished stainless steel with a shiny
glass case. By day the bar offers a wide variety of coffees, as well as morning and
afternoon homemade baked macaroons, truffles, the finest chocolates and desserts, all
freshly made by the pastry chefs of MOMO Restaurant, Bar & Lounge.
By night, The Living Room Jewelry Bar transforms into a full bar with a great selection
of international wines and spirits. Both hotel guests as local trendsetters can enjoy all
day long. This way you have a 24-hour dynamic feeling.
