Popular ‘Bal Asosye Tradisyonel’ closes Festival Kreol 2013 as per tradition at 6am

The closure of the annual gathering of the Creole Community of Nations is at 6am at the popular ‘Bal Asosye Tradisyonel’ at the Kreole Institute when the Minister for Tourism and Culture takes to mike and gives the rendezvous to next edition of the Festival Kreol.
Speaking to the full house of revellers, Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles minister responsible for Tourism and Culture thanked everyone for coming out to be counted as a creole. “You are proud to be creoles and you have manifested this belief of yours. Today we give you all rendezvous to the 2014 edition of the Festival Kreol. This celebration will continue to grow from strength to strength because we have people like you who are not ashamed to be seen as a member of the Creole Community of the World. This year creoles from La Reunion, Mauritius, Rodrigues, Haiti and Martinique joined with us to give to help the Festival Kreol the fest we all expect it to be. As Chairman of the Organising Committee, we can say that we are happy that we have once again delivered for Seychelles and for the Creole Community of the World a great Festival Kreol and this we have been able to do because the Seychellois People stood with us” Minister St.Ange said.
The minister went on to say that he had well received the comments and suggestions from all the friends of the Festival Kreol. He said that he appreciated the support from the thousands of Seychellois who were in Victoria for the Official Opening of the Festival and for the la serenade festival procession. “You have done the creole spirit proud and by your participation you have said that you are a true creole” Minister St.Ange said.
The 2013 Festival Kreol saw mass participation at all its events. The musical shows this year attracted very large crowds.
