Queen Alia International Airport records more than 700,000 passengers during August 2014

aaco-logoAirport International Group (AIG) announced that it has welcomed over 700,000 passengers during August 2014.

 

This milestone, which is a first in QAIA history, is a continuation of the steady growth in passenger traffic (PAX) and aircraft movements (ACM) for the eighth consecutive month in 2014.

During August 2014, PAX increased by 13.2% to reach 785,685 PAX while ACM rose by 12% to come in at 7,242 ACM, as opposed to the same month last year.

 

Since the beginning of 2014 and up until August, year-to-date (YTD) PAX and ACM statistics surged by 12.1% and 9.1% respectively compared to August 2013, registering at 4,939,973 PAX and 49,626 ACM.
