HoteldAngleterreThe Red Carnation Hotel Collection has been listed 8th in this year’s Sunday Times Top 100 Companies. It is the third time Red Carnation Hotels have been listed, having entered in 2012 at number 71 and risen swiftly to 26 last year.

The results of this prestigious and highly sought after accolade were announced at an award ceremony in Battersea, London last night.

The prestigious list is compiled annually and hundreds of companies apply from a huge cross section of industries in the UK. The final list was derived from a Sunday Times survey of over 246,000 employee opinion polls and an evaluation of each organisation’s key statistics, processes and policies.

With 17 luxury boutique hotels in London, Dorset, Guernsey, Ireland, Geneva, South Africa and Florida, the family-run hotel group is the creation of Mrs Beatrice Tollman, its President and Founder, and the name Red Carnation Hotel Collection inspired by the flower famously worn in her husband’s lapel. A driving passion for genuine hospitality and service and her on-going involvement on the front line of her hotels is an inspiration to each member of staff. Investing in staff is given great importance and the highest levels of training and development are provided to ensure employee satisfaction.

Jonathan Raggett, Managing Director of Red Carnation Hotel Collection says;

“We were delighted to have made the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies list back in 2012 and to have risen to the top ten in two years is a remarkable achievement.

Being a family run hotel collection, our employees are at the heart of our whole operation. Every effort is made, from our wonderful Human Resources team through to all our dedicated managers, to deliver the best training and development for the entire staff, ensuring career progress and objectives are being met and most importantly that they are happy and feel fulfilled in their respective roles.

Our staff’s satisfaction is what ensures we live up to and embody our guest philosophy of ‘no request too large, no detail too small,’ and their happiness and motivation is paramount. So, it is with great pride that we have been acknowledged not only by the Sunday Times but also by our loyal staff.”
