Renaissance Hotels is known for encouraging travelers to “Live Life to Discover.” On Thursday, June 26, the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel will encourage our guests to make time to discover a better business trip with an exclusive event featuring Nalisio Taveras and Son Salvaje in the hotel lobby.
This special event will take place simultaneously with 155 Renaissance Hotels around the world, celebrating the third annual “Day of Discovery.”
The Day of Discovery at the Tampa Renaissance International Plaza Hotel begins with baristas from Buddy Brew coffee serving complimentary hot and cold coffee beverages in the hotel lobby from 8AM – 10AM.
Then discover an artistic way to celebrate the day by taking a PaintNite.com class in the hotel lobby starting at 6PM. Registration is available online at PaintNite.com.
From 6PM – 9PM enjoy featured food and drinks while enjoying a special musical and dance performance.
Performing that evening will be Nalisio Taveras, one of Tampa Bay’s most in demand artists. A singer, composer and musician, he directs Son Salvaje, a six-piece Latin band that specializes in salsa, merengue, bachata, cha cha and Latin jazz.
Joining the musical group will be a dance troupe featuring Jorge Chavez, a dance instructor, competitive dancer and member of the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel team. He will be joined by his dance partner, Lenka Greer, who is also a dance instructor. They will lead a beginner’s salsa dance class. The concert, dance performances and dance lessons are free.
