The Robert F. Kennedy Bridge’s Harlem River lift span will be closed in both directions Monday, April 28th at approximately 7 p.m. to allow for marine traffic. The time is contingent on when the vessel arrives at the bridge. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during this time to avoid delays.
The closure will last about 15-20 minutes. The waterway is regulated by the U.S. Coast Guard and under federal maritime law bridge lifts are mandatory when requested.
