sabreSabre Corporation was selected by Alaska Airlines to provide technology solutions to enable its retailing strategy in all sales channels, including through some of the carrier’s interline partner airlines.

By late 2015, Sabre’s suite of solutions will give Alaska the ability to offer customers ancillary

products and optional services through travel agencies and some interline airline partners. Sabre’s interline ancillary capabilities will also enable Alaska’s interline partners to market and sell their ancillaries in Alaska’s sales channels.

By using Sabre’s inventory control features, Alaska Airlines will be able to efficiently track and monitor inventory of ancillary products.

“Sabre has been a long-time technology provider for Alaska Airlines, delivering capabilities to help power their growth,” said Hugh Jones, president of Sabre Airline Solutions.

“Alaska has led the industry by pioneering new and innovative technologies so we are thrilled to continue supporting their technology needs.”

Alaska Airlines also uses Sabre’s reservations system.

“Our top priority is to provide our customers with options so travelers can purchase the optional products and services they value most and Sabre has been an important partner in helping achieve this goal,” said Andrew Harrison, senior vice president of planning and revenue management for Alaska Airlines.
