Overlooking the blue waters of Port Stephens, the new-look Ramada Resort Shoal Bay is offering a new, discounted conference package over summer for delegates eager to hit the beach, just metres away, between sessions.
Offering savings of up to $85 per delegate, the all-inclusive package is for conferences for at least 25 people booked before December 31, 2014, and held before March 31, 2015.
After taking over management of the iconic Port Stephens property in March, 2014, Wyndham Hotel Group – the world’s largest hotel company – has refurbished and rebranded the Ramada Resort Shoal Bay, which now offers more than 140 deluxe, self-contained, one, two and three bedroom apartments, villas and suites as well as four restaurants, five bars, three indoor and outdoor pools, a day spa, bike hire and a convention centre for up to 200 delegates.
Overlooking the pristine beaches and dolphin-filled waters of Shoal Bay, the resort won bronze awards at the 2013 NSW Tourism Awards for deluxe accommodation and business tourism.
The new Ramada Resort Shoal Bay conference package is available from $185 per person, twin-share – a saving of $85 on normal rates.
The package includes one night’s accommodation with breakfast and a full-day delegate package comprising room and equipment hire, free wi-fi, morning and afternoon teas, gourmet working lunch, selected drinks and a dedicated conference concierge.
Delegates will also receive discounts for meals and high teas at the resort and for local golf courses and dolphin cruises.
Other activities in Port Stephens ideal for delegates and team-building include parasailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, learn-to surf sessions, fishing, sailing, jetboating, cycling, bushwalking, camel and horse rides and also quad biking and sandboarding on the biggest sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere.
