The Port of Seattle welcomes the beginning of a new international service over the weekend as Delta Air Lines began daily nonstop flights to London-Heathrow from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The new service continues to highlight Delta’s growing commitment to making Seattle the West Coast gateway for one of the world’s largest airlines.
“These international connections promote trade and business development to generate good jobs throughout the Pacific Northwest and additional tourism connections,” said Mark Reis, Managing Director of Sea-Tac Airport. “Delta is building Seattle as their premiere West Coast gateway. This new London flight underscores Sea-Tac’s status as the fastest growing intercontinental airport on the West Coast.”
Flight Details for Seattle-London Heathrow Service
Delta will operate Seattle-London Heathrow service using a 208-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft featuring 36 full flat-bed seats in BusinessElite, 32 seats in Economy Comfort and 143 Economy class seats.

Delta is the largest operator of intercontinental services at Sea-Tac, serving 10 flights daily by this summer when they add service to Seoul and Hong Kong in June. Overall, Delta offers nonstop service from Seattle to Paris, London and Amsterdam (twice daily in the summer) in Europe as well as Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo-Nartia, Tokyo-Haneda, Seoul and Hong Kong (coming in June) in Asia. By August, Delta will operate more than 50 daily flights to 26 cities from Seattle.
