East Midlands Trains has advised customers that train services operating across its network are not expected to be affected by the severe weather conditions today . A full timetable is currently expected to run across all routes throughout the day.
A spokesperson for East Midlands Trains said: “We know that many transport operators have been affected by the severe weather conditions and we are very sympathetic to the thousands of people around the country who have seen the impact of the high winds, heavy rain and flooding.
“We wanted to reassure people however that we are working hard to deliver our full timetable to ensure that our passengers can continue to get to where they need to be.
