With school holiday periods starting, the Singapore Airlines’ regional wing Silkair has plans to add six weekly flights to Darwin.
The extra flights will be introduced from December 4, 2014 to January 29, 2015 as revealed by the Airline Route website.
Flight MI801 will jet off from Singapore at 0855 for a 1500 arrival into Darwin, before departing the Northern Territory capital as MI802 at 1600 for a scheduled 1900 arrival into Singapore.
There are four weekly flights of Silkair, which began flying from Darwin in March 2012.
The airline is using Airbus A320 and A319 aircraft and has plans of switching to Boeing 737-800 aircraft once the six weekly services to Darwin is starts.
