Silver Airways Starts 16th Intra-Florida Route: Fort Lauderdale – Jacksonville

silver-airways-jax-fll-inaugural-300x200Silver Airways, Florida’s next generation regional airline, today started nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), further expanding its intra-Florida flying.


This marks Silver’s 16th intra-Florida route. Silver kicked off the new service on Tuesday with up to three flights per day, offering a variety of convenient travel options for both business and leisure travelers. Silver plans to further increase frequencies on this route in November.

In addition to linking Northeast and South Florida, the new service enhances connection opportunities for travelers to Silver’s popular destinations throughout the Bahamas and Key West, as well as over a dozen additional destinations outside of Florida via its codeshare and numerous interline partners.

Silver Airways also today increased daily frequencies between Jacksonville and Tampa, and between Tampa and Palm Beach.

To celebrate, Fort Lauderdale – Jacksonville fares from $59* (one-way, including taxes and fees) are available through August 22, 2014, for nonstop travel between September 2, 2014 and October 30, 2014.

From Jacksonville, Silver flies nonstop to Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, and seasonally to Marsh Harbour.
