Madame Karine Coulanges, the sitting President of SKAL International used her meetings at the London WTM 2013 (World Travel Market) for a first meeting with Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture.
SKAL International is the recognised gouging of Tourism Industry Professionals with million of active members across the world.
It is the first time in the history of the organisation that a french lady is elected as President of SKAL International and she has, since her election but months ago, been active in the recruitment of new countries to join the world of SKAL International.
“Seychelles is a known and sought after tourism destination and it would be a great destination to welcome as having a SKAL International grouping” said Madame Coulanges during the meeting with Minister St.Ange.
The Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture confirmed his interest to see SKAL International set up in Seychelles and assures Madame Coulanges of his support to help set up SKAL International in Seychelles.
Present at the meeting was Juergen Steinmetz, himself a SKAL International Member and Publisher of eTN News.
