Smoke in flight deck forces Florida bound Delta airline plane to make emergency landing

emergency-landing-300x225A Florida bound Delta airline plane made an emergency landing in Ohio.

 

The plane took off from Detroit when smoke odor was detected.

The crew members decided to land in Toledo, Ohio. A smoky odor was detected by crew members soon after takeoff from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport in the flight deck.

The plane made a safe landing and was taxied to the gate using its own power. The plane was headed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The passengers safely departed from the plane.

 

They were immediately transferred to another plane. No injuries were reported.

However the exact reason of the emergency landing has not been revealed.

Investigations are in process and the airline authorities’ will reveal the reason for the technical failure in the course of time.
