A Chicago bound Southwest flight makes an emergency landing at Indianapolis on Thursday morning. The aircraft was diverted to Indianapolis after an engine malfunction detected. The 737aircraft took of from St Louis when the pilot reported of possible engine problems and requested permission to make an emergency landing.
There were 121 passengers onboard but they landed safe after checked by airport fire crews. No incidents of injuries or damage were reported. However, the aircraft underwent further inspections by mechanics and the passengers were given further accommodations.
