St. Regis Hotels & Resorts presents Art Unveiled, a bespoke programme dedicated to providing art and culture connoisseurs with personally guided tours and access to the finest museums and private contemporary art galleries in Rome and Florence. Guests of The St. Regis Rome and The St. Regis Florence are invited to indulge their passion for the arts and culture through Art Unveiled, which is designed to uncover the thriving contemporary art scene in Italy.
TheArt Unveiled program, curated by Caterina Diana Biagiotti, contemporary art specialist and director of the non-profit foundation Biagiotti Art Project, culture lovers will discover the local contemporary art scene in Rome and Florence. Art Unveiled offers a highly personalised approach that is adapted to guests’ interests and is ideal for couples, families, as well as small groups.
“Few people know that for many years Italy has had a central role in contemporary art worldwide and that in the last decade, significant investments have been made to elevate the profile of contemporary art in the country. For instance in Rome, Maxxi is the first national museum totally devoted to contemporary creativity,” said Biagiotti. “What is unique about the Art Unveiled programme is that it opens and gives access to extraordinary venues and opportunities to meet with curators and experts of contemporary art, as well as private events such as hosted dinners in collectors’ homes. These experiences are very exclusive and usually are not open to the public.”
Robert Koren, Vice President and Regional Director for Starwood Hotels & Resorts – Italy & Central Mediterranean said: “We are delighted to provide our guests with the opportunity to discover Italy’s contemporary art scene with experts who will personally guide them through some of the most extraordinary collections in Rome and Florence. Art Unveiled takes an uncompromising approach to offer exclusive, bespoke experiences and behind-the-scenes tours, and we hope to exceed the expectations of our guests who are art and culture enthusiasts.”
Ms Biagiotti will meet and discuss with the guests to curate a bespoke itinerary, from which one can choose from a variety of museums, foundations, artist studios and workshops. Available in English and Italian, and other languages upon request, each tour will also be accompanied by a dedicated art curator or historian.
