The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS) reported Tuesday a 2.6 magnitude earthquake on the open-ended Richter scale, detected at a maritime zone near Sucre state.
According to the agency, the earthquake was located at 32 kilometres south of Guiria and 39 kilometres southeast of Irapa.
Meanwhile, the epicentre of the telluric movement detected at 07:12 hours was located at 5-kilometres deep.
In that region, FUNVISIS reported 2.8 magnitude earthquake Monday, and another occurred on Saturday of 3.3 magnitude on the Richter scale.
